Eligibility for influenza vaccination


Patients under 75 years or patients under 64 years and at risk

To ensure patient safety with social distancing we are offering appointments which must be booked in advance. This can be done on our website for patients who have registered for online services. If this is not possible, please contact reception.  We are holding clinics throughout January 2021


Patients over 75 years

The practice will contact you directly to arrange an appointment in January 2021. 


Housebound patients

Patients will be contacted by the practice directly to arrange a visit throughout January 2021


Children aged 2-5 years

If you live in Midlothian and your child is between 2yrs & 5yrs and not yet at school, please telephone the Practice and book and appointment with the Practice Nurse.


Patients aged 60-64

Vaccines have arrived for the national second phase of the influenza campaign. Please telephone the Practice to make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.


Your local pharmacy

If you are not in the above NHS categories, you can receive a flu vaccine at your local pharmacy for a small fee. Please contact them directly for further information.

Please stay safe on arrival...


Do not attend if you have a continuous cough, a high temperature or have lost your sense of smell or taste.


Please attend strictly at your allocated time.


Please wear a face mask at all times and respect social distancing. Hand sanitiser stations will be available for use.


Please dress practically. Coats should be removed and sleeves rolled up so that vaccines can be administered swiftly.
